David is the Production Manager of YSM Foundry

David is a highly experienced foundry professional with 15 years of experience in the industry. David is skilled in the production of grinding media and possesses a deep knowledge of the manufacturing process, metallurgy, and materials science.

David has worked in many foundries where he managed and oversaw all aspects of the grinding media production process, including production planning, material sourcing, casting, heat treatment, and quality control. He develops and implements processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

David leads a team of skilled technicians and operators, providing coaching, training, and mentoring to ensure high-quality production standards.

Hanno is the Managing Director of YSM Foundry

Hanno van Dyk is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience in the business world. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a keen ability to identify new business opportunities, set up new ventures, and manage them successfully.

Born in Pretoria, South Africa, Hanno was raised in a family of entrepreneurs and learned early on the value of hard work, perseverance, and innovation. After completing his education, he embarked on his business career, starting with his first venture in the hospitality industry.

Over the years, Hanno has founded and managed several successful businesses in various industries, including ICTI, manufacturing, petroleum, hospitality and real estate. He is known for his ability to identify market trends and capitalize on emerging opportunities, as well as his strong leadership and management skills.

Throughout his career, Hanno has faced many challenges and setbacks, but he has always remained focused on his goals and committed to achieving success. He believes in taking calculated risks and embracing innovation, and he is not afraid to pivot or change course when necessary.

In addition to his business achievements, Hanno is also a passionate philanthropist and has dedicated much of his time and resources to supporting various charitable causes. He believes in the importance of giving back to the community and making a positive impact in the world.
